L'oubli du Monde

Following my participation in the Mamori ArtLab 2007, a sound residency in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon, where I was invited by Francisco Lopez, I developed this performance based on my Amazonian sound recordings, which develops over a long time.

It was premiered at the Observatori Festival in Valencia (Spain) and revived at Cap 15/La Jetée (Marseille) in June 2008.
The performance combined electroacoustic diffusion and real-time sound processing in a spatialized environment. The sound diffusion lasted an entire night, inviting the audience to settle into this space, to experience it, to "inhabit" it, and even to sleep there.
