Since 2020, Thomas Tilly and myself have been listening to glaciers in the Oisans and Écrins massifs. We have been dipping hydrophones into crevasses, recording the slow movements of ice and auscultating melting snow.

Together, we've created the radio documentary Radio Glaces and the electoracoustic performance Melt*, for which we now share the stage with glaciologist Lucas Davaze.

From October 2025 to July 2027, our sound installation Nix* is open to the public. It was created with sounds collected at the surface of snow. The result is a headphones listening room, where recordings using contact microphones and seismic sensors reveal minuscule phenomena: sublimation, metamorphism and the melting of snow cristals.

Nix* is a new work of environmental electroacoustics that takes place within the exhibition Rouge comme Neige - Enquête scientifique en Montagne (As red as snow - a scientific study in the mountains), at the Museum of Natural History of Grenoble. It focuses on microscopic algae blooms which, in the springtime, color the snow with red spots between 2000 and 3000m of altitude.

Nix* is a never-ending loop that aims open new aural perspectives on a very particular environment.
