In Canada's Far North, men live in the heart of unspoiled nature, isolated from the world. They chose this region for its beauty. Yet, through their mining activities, they contribute to its destruction.
North recounts the ambivalent relationship these men have with their land and nature.
A film by Leslie Lagier, for which we shot in the Yukon. I recorded the direct sounds and atmos there, and composed sound works for the sequences based on archival footage.
