In 2010, I was invited to a residency at Q-O2 Werkplaats in Brussels. There, I developed principles of exploration and composition to address this urban context with the microphone.

The venue invited me the following year to present this work at the Field-Fest; the recording of this concert is the first audio available on this page.

Taking advantage of my extended stay in Brussels, Silence Radio asked me to produce a piece for the new version of their website. Midi-Minuit, the second sound available on this page, is a nocturnal exploration of the Midi district, revealing sounds usually drowned out by daytime traffic and people, magnifying their details, and exploring the nooks and crannies protected by security signs, where unsuspected electricity continues to flow.
